RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI)Our Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Laboratory is equipped with two state-of-the-art MRI machines: the Siemens Altea 1.5T Open Bore 70cm and the Siemens Avanto 1.5T. These machines are landmarks in medical technology, offering accurate and reliable diagnostic exams. Our choice of these models was based on their superior quality and their ability to provide exceptionally clear and detailed images, making them ideal for a wide range of diagnostic exams.
Siemens Altea 1.5T Open Bore 70cm MRI Scanner
We are introducing, for the first time in Corfu, the Deep Resolve technology, which represents the cutting edge in MRI.
The new Altea MRI scanner, from the Siemens brand, is equipped with advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms that contribute to simultaneous:

Additionally, the new Siemens Altea is equipped with revolutionary BioMatrix technology, which uses “smart” coils that enable high system performance even for the most demanding exams, while also adapting to the biometric variability of each patient, offering the possibility of personalized, patient-centered care.
Siemens Avanto 1.5T MRI Scanner
One of the main advantages of this machine is its ability to image the body without using ionizing radiation, in three different planes (axial, sagittal, and coronal). Furthermore, the lightweight and ergonomically designed coils used offer comfort to the patient and allow for the examination of overweight patients weighing up to 200 kg.
The high power of the Siemens Avanto 1.5 Tesla MRI ensures significantly shorter exam times, allowing full-body imaging without the need to move the patient. This not only improves patient comfort but also ensures greater accuracy in results.
