MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive diagnostic test that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of the body’s internal structures. It is ideal for imaging soft tissues, joints, the brain, and the spinal cord.

COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT)

Computed Tomography (CT) uses X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the body, providing detailed images of internal organs, bones, soft tissues, and blood vessels. It is particularly useful for diagnosing and monitoring various pathological conditions.

ULTRASOUND / TRIPLEX

Ultrasound tests use sound waves to create images of the internal organs and structures of the body. Triplex (Doppler) examines blood flow through blood vessels, helping in diagnosing circulation problems.

A Few Words

The Private Medical Diagnostic Laboratory “CORFU MRI AND DIAGNOSTICS CENTER” has been operating since November 2013 in the center of Corfu, at Mantzarou 3 (OTE building), and at the branch on Ioannou Theotoki 100 since March 2024. With a focus on providing excellent quality healthcare services, we have state-of-the-art equipment and specialized scientific and paramedical staff.

BLOOD COLLECTION HOURS

Blood sampling is performed on weekdays from 07:30 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 19:30, and on Saturday from 08:00 to 12:00.

Home blood sampling is also available by appointment.

BEFORE YOU UNDERGO AN MRI

Some diagnostic tests require preparation. Please contact the secretariat.

It is important to inform us if:

You have a cardiac pacemaker
You have a metal stent placed
There is a possibility of pregnancy

BEFORE YOU UNDERGO A CT scan

Some diagnostic tests require preparation. Please contact the secretariat.

It is important to inform us if:

You have any allergies to medications, especially iodinated substances
You are taking any medication (e.g., for diabetes)
You have kidney failure
There is a possibility of pregnancy

AGREEMENTS WITH FUNDS AND INSURANCES

The diagnostic laboratory has agreements with all health funds, such as EOPYYY, TYPET, Ministry of Defense (Coast Guard), Bank of Greece, and serves almost all Private Insurance Companies (by appointment).
