TOMOGRAPHY (CT)Our CT Laboratory is equipped with the state-of-the-art SIEMENS Somatom go Up 64-slice CT scanner,, manufactured in 2019. Compared to older generation scanners, this machine includes new imaging programs that reduce radiation exposure by 30-50%. By using specialized protocols for each examination, we further improve the quality of the imaging. Combined with the many years of experience and excellent training of our doctors, we ensure highly accurate diagnoses.
For a better understanding of the findings, we use key images providing the clinical doctor with the ability to quickly interpret and compare the results. This innovative approach is pioneering for our city.

Features of the SIEMENS Somatom go Up CT scanner:
- Reduced radiation dose:: Thanks to the Sinogram Affirmed Iterative Reconstruction (SAFIRE), detectors, the radiation dose is reduced by up to 60%, while maintaining excellent image quality. SAFIRE enhances spatial resolution, reduces image noise, and increases clarity through iterative reconstruction.
- Excellent image quality: The Stellar detector reduces noise in every scan, while tin filter technology allows imaging with very low radiation doses. This is particularly beneficial for imaging the lungs, intestines, and bone structures such as the inner ear and the base of the skull.
- Special pediatric protocols: The system includes a specially designed CARE,filter, which adjusts radiation exposure according to the child’s age and weight, ensuring safe and reliable diagnostic tests for our young patients.
